  1. Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other human services field. Licensed/Licensed eligible required.
  2. Acts 33, (Child-line), 34 (Criminal) & 34 & FBI Clearances needed.
  3. Experience in providing treatment to individuals with chemical abuse/dependence diagnoses preferred.
  4. Experience working with children and adolescents with mental health diagnoses preferred.
  5. Knowledge of working with multi-cultural populations.
  6. A record for high professional and ethical standards as evidenced by letters of recommendation.
  7. Current driver's license and current vehicle insurance.
  8. Available transportation to and from work as well as during work hours.
  9. Must possess excellent communication skills; both verbal and written. Must be computer literate.
  10. Have experience working with community agencies in multidisciplinary collaboration.
  11. Demonstrate knowledge of child and adolescents developmental stages, effective parenting strategies and the effect of chemical use on the family system.



  1. Provide family/individual therapy to adolescents and their families as prescribed in the Evidenced Based Multidimensional Family Therapy Team delivered protocol.
  2. Will maintain minimal productivity expectation of 920 hours of direct service annually (20 hours per week average based on 46 weeks).
  3. Work as an effective therapist in a two to three member team.
  4. Carry a caseload of four to eight families at a time.
  5. Serve as the lead therapist for the families assigned. This includes preparing treatment plans, establishing interagency meetings, and leading the course of therapy so as to reduce drug use and related behaviors, and increase the unity and cooperation between all family members.
  6. Serve as the co-case manager for the families assigned. This includes referral of the families and their members to other services when appropriate; and assisting families in building and maintaining positive community ties.
  7. Participate in regularly scheduled, weekly supervision with the Clinical Supervisor.
  8. Maintain consumer files in compliance with licensing requirements and supervisory directives 100% of the time.
  9. Provide treatment in a wide variety of settings, with 70% of time spent in direct service activities.
  10. Be creative and flexible in solving difficulties in consumer care and program needs.
  11. Use time effectively as will be evidenced in making schedules and following them with few changes; meeting paperwork, unit, and work demands in a way that meets deadlines and licensing requirements.
  12. Keep equipment and office space in a professional, clean, and useable condition.
  13. Be reliable and dependable in following through on assignments.
  14. Attend mandated program training, both initial and ongoing in accordance with MDFT protocols.
  15. Maintain professional dress in accordance with the dress code.
  16. Interact positively with the supervisor, co-workers, and colleagues.
  • Maintains and upholds Community Counseling Center's policies, respects confidentiality, and exhibits a professional demeanor at all times while at work.
  • Any violation of policies and procedures/job duties will be subject to disciplinary action.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
