QUALIFICATIONS:     

  1. Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other human services field.
  2. Act 33/34/FBI Clearances required along with childline certification.
  3. Two years of experience in a (CASSP) child and Adolescent Social Service Program.
  4. A record for high professional and ethical standards as evidenced by letters of recommendation.
  5. Current driver's license and current vehicle insurance.
  6. Available transportation to and from work as well as during work hours.
  7. A literacy standard that includes the ability to read proficiently and write legibly with proper grammar and syntax.
  8. Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescents developmental stages.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provide compassionate, confidential, courteous, and professional services to consumers and their families measured by complaints made by assigned families and their members and by client satisfaction surveys.
  2. Work as an effective therapist in a two to three member team.
  3. Carry a caseload of four to eight families at a time.
  4. Serve as the lead therapist for the families assigned.  This includes preparing treatment plans, establishing interagency meetings, and leading the course of therapy so as to reduce hospitalizations, prevent out-of-home placement, and increase the unity and cooperation between all family members.
  5. Serve as the co-casemanager for the families assigned. This includes referral of the families and their members to other services when appropriate; and assisting families in building and maintaining positive community ties.
  6. Make sound judgements concerning consumer care.
  7. Maintain consumer files in compliance with licensing requirements and supervisory directives 100% of the time.
  8. Consistently meet or surpass work and unity quotas as an individual and as a team member.  You are required to spend at least 60% of work time in the field in unity earning activities.  You are required to produce 500 units of service a month, at least 300 of which must be earned in team units, and no more than 200 of which can be earned as an individual.
  9. Be creative and flexible in solving difficulties in consumer care and program needs.
  10. Use time effectively as will be evidenced in making schedules and following them with few changes; meeting paperwork, unit, and work demands in a way that meets or precipitates deadlines and licensing requirements.
  11. Keep equipment and office space in a professional, clean, and useable condition.
  12. Attend supervision weekly for the purpose of clinical guidance of cases, chart reviews, and team functioning.
  13. Be reliable and dependable in following through on assignments.
  14. Attend mandated program and agency training 100% of the time.
  15. Maintain professional dress in accordance with the dress code.
  16. Interact positively with the supervisor, co-workers, and colleagues.
  17. Physical demands may include walking, sitting, climbing, reaching, grasping, gripping, finger dexterity, standing and driving.

    18 .Maintains and upholds Community Counseling Center's policies, respects confidentiality, and exhibits a professional       demeanor at all      times while at work.

  1. Any violation of policies and procedures/job duties will be subject to disciplinary action.
  2. Performs other duties as assigned.
