JOB PURPOSE: The psychologist position administers, evaluates, edits, and interprets psychological testing; reviews clinician supervisees' work products and provides feedback; provides direct clinical supervision to clinicians (individually), including APA interns; keeps a caseload of approximately 15 individual therapy clients, which equates to 7-10 billable visits per week; and meets with APA faculty to manage program.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Administers, evaluates, and interprets required psychological testing as needed; mostly will review scoring of psychological tests, assist with development of administration skills, and edit reports completed by doctoral interns.

2. Tracks key performance indicators for doctoral interns and any other supervisees (e.g., Matrix performance, professional comportment, testing errors).

3. Establishes personal, professional goals for each supervisees and formatively evaluates progress on such goals. Provides direct verbal and written feedback to supervisees on, at least a monthly basis. 

4. Completes necessary clinical documentation for caseload within 24 hours of the visit.

5. Consults with clinical team and participates in clinical team.

6. Provides trainings internally and externally as needed.

7. Reports for biweekly supervision.

8. Provides consultation to staff on an ongoing basis.

2.0 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides supervision to three doctoral interns and other clinicians as assigned. Directly supervises employees in the department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities include scheduling, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems in partnership with Human Resources.

3.1   Maintains licensure in all programs.

3.3   Treats all clients/consumers/staff with dignity and respect.

3.4  Growth of services through ongoing public relations within the community, its agencies and organizations for providing quality care and educational services.

4.0 QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 5.0 CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited college or university

Active psychology license conferred by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Two - Three years of experience in psychological test administration. 

Act 33, Act 34 and FBI Clearances required.  Valid driver license and proof of vehicle insurance required.

6.0 PHYSICAL DEMANDS:                                            

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus.

7.0 WORK ENVIRONMENT:                                        

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

8.0 TRAVEL:

Primarily local/regional during business day, may be some out of area and overnight travel as business dictates.
