QUALIFICATION: Master's level in Counseling or Social Work (Other license-eligible Masters Degrees will be considered). At least one year of experience in individual, family, and group therapy methods preferred. (Licensed Preferred) Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Evidence and demonstration of cultural humility required. Act 33 and 34 and FBI Clearances required. Current driver's license and current vehicle insurance.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. This is a line staff position, which involves providing individual counseling, group counseling, and care management for people with substance use and other mental disorders.
  2. Reports directly to Clinical Director.
  3. Provides psychosocial assessment; ongoing individual, family, and group counseling; client/family education; and care management for cases assigned.
  4. Participates in regularly scheduled supervision.
  5. Maintains timely and adequate documentation (including reports, summaries, and letters) on each client assigned.
  6. Works in close cooperation with other social service agencies, hospitals, and community resources toward planning and initializing services with clients.
  7. Participates in formal and informal treatment team meetings to facilitate collaborative care for clients.
  8. Provides community education as time permits. This involves public speaking, and planning and participating in educational workshops, seminars, etc.
  9. This position may require school-based work and/or work in satellite office (Grove City and Greenville).
  10. Can be required to work evening hours. Supervisor will determine this according to need.
  11. Attends all mandated Community Counseling Center in services, as well as continuing education classes to enhance job skills.
  12. Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains and upholds Community Counseling Center's policies, respects confidentiality, and exhibits a professional demeanor at all times while at work.
  • Any violation of policies and procedures/job duties will be subject to disciplinary action.
